Coconut Safety pg.4
- For the first 24 hours, ask someone to wake you up every two hours. You will want to drift off into sleep, but even if your CT scan indicated that you have no permanent skull or brain damage, this is no guarantee that the worst is not yet to come! Frequently inform friends/family members how you are feeling; they can assess your condition better than you at this point.
- Rest. No driving for at least 24 hours and no work until you feel your brain can handle it.
Remember, for the first 24 hours: Ice, ice and more ice. Emergency room. No aspirin, caffeine, alcohol or cigarettes. No driving.
