C) Integrated Pest Management
Involvement of coconut farmers will play the most important roles in this matter. In fact, there are many farmers that lack the knowledge and strong scientific foundation about pest management. An education program will help launch an integrated pest management in order to improve the farming applications.
D) Coconut for Reforestation
1. Reforestation :Coconut Palms is a great plant for a reforestation program in Asia due to perfect climatic conditions for it and the widespread use of it.
2. Carbon Dioxide Reduction: there is no scientific observations or experiments have been performed to proof whether the coconut trees are viable for reducing the carbon dioxide the air. Due to the fact, we are encouraged to launch the comprehensive observation to figure how much the coconut trees can contribute the Carbon Dioxide reduction.
Proposed Approach
A) Reforestation program implementation for coconut trees: I.
B) Establish the rate of carbon dioxide absorption by coconut trees: Work closely with international organization and institution such as United Nations (UN), Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and private foundations in order to provide the tools and device for measuring the carbon dioxide absorption of coconut trees. This observation program is being established as part of our self-awareness in reducing the global warming issues
C) Advanced researches to penetrate the worldwide market of coconut finished products in relation to fight the poverty within local finished coconut products producers: As we know how coconut trees are highly valuable for life and living, especially within certain countries and mostly in developing countries. From the root to the fruit can be used to generate an income for the community. Once all accurate information of coconut finished products producers and type of products variety are gathered, we will assist them promoting and bringing the products to the world market.
